French Doors With a Juliet Balcony

Sometimes we get a slightly more unusual project to work on. Here, we were tasked to install a pair of our classic French doors into a home. However for this job they were on the first floor, resulting in a Juliet balcony as well.

Location

These French doors were fitted into the first floor of a Morden home in Surrey.

Products Used

The majority of the work we carry out is done from the inside without the need for scaffolding. This job however required the use of a tower for the safety of our fitters as they were installing a set of French doors, sidelights and a Juliet balcony to a first floor bedroom.

There was originally a long window in its place so the fitters had to knock down the centre of the brick work to make room for the French doors as seen in the pictures. The doors open up the room nicely allowing a lot of natural light to enter, providing a beautiful view of the garden and the Juliet balcony provides plenty safety for when the doors are open.
