The job was a residential installation in Cheam, within the London Borough of Sutton.

Products Used

A really classic Painswick Green Solidor composite front door and composite side panels with a slam lock mechanism were installed into this project. The glass in the door and panels is satin with a decorative etched border. There were also PVCu Casement windows fitted, with dummy sashes, including 2 bay windows, with decorative lead grids in the glass and fanlights to match.

This was a very tense job as this was an install for Elena who works in the office at SCI Windows; our fitters we’re on their best behaviour! Elena’s husband is a builder who has done a lot of work on the house, to reach a very high aesthetic standard, so our fitting and finish had to match this. We think our fitters achieved a really excellent finish. The style of the door and windows were chosen to complement the rest of the property and the colour of the door was designed to match their existing garage door.

The reputation of SCI Windows was really being tested on this install, as Elena’s neighbours know that she works for SCI; so keeping up our reputation was very important. Since the install, Elena has had a lot of positive comments from her neighbours about the look and finish of her lovely home.
