White Flush Sash Casements Including a Porch

This was a front of house renovation in London. Originally old diamond lead timber windows, to which we then fitted white Flush Sash casements including a porch. Our customer was over the moon with the final result.

The installation was in a older style property in South London.

Products Used

White PVCu Flush sash casement windows were installed, with dummy sashes and a PVCu door, in a sculptured profile with sculptured casement windows to make up the porch bay.

We can see from the before shot, to the right, that the customer’s existing windows were very old, under performing and not doing any favours to the look of the property. The old mastic on the original window installation was very messy along the brickwork, so we used a 45 mm trim around the windows, sealing with a clear silicone and then our normal trim, giving the window a real ‘brand new look’.

The new flush sash PVCu casement windows change this completely, giving the property a renewed and modern look. A sculptured profile was used for the porch windows and door to give it a softer look and satin glass was used in the bottom of the door instead of a white panel, to keep in with the contemporary theme.
